A leading global financial organisation is looking for a Governance, Portfolio & Execution Lead to support the Operations Director of Enterprise across several disciplines (Exco governance, workforce strategy and portfolio oversight). The role covers the effective running, strategic progression and operational effectiveness of global firms technology.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a robust and clear agreed Location Strategy exists with the right talent and skills in each location/region to support Technology
- Accountable for Organisation Design supporting technology strategy in line with overall IT Organisation Design Principals
- Overseeing high profile events/meetings are delivered in conjunction with key business partners
- Ensuring the programmes are fully compliant with company practices
- Creation of process flows, stakeholder maps, other adhoc support requests
- High quality advice/council
- Ability to influence key stakeholders across strategic initiatives to deliver outcomes
- Accountable for co-ordinating milestone reporting across governed portfolios
Job requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, with proven experience working in a Matrix management structure
- Building and maintaining global team relationships
- Evidence of delivery in a similar role within a complex, global organisation, including holding relevant ExCo membership and active participation
- Excellent influencer and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience of delivering large scale Technology Transformations within Financial Services
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to prioritise competing demands
- Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to distil complex data into information that can be utilised to manage/measure performance
- Delivery-focused with high attention to detail
- Financial Services & Consultancy experience highly desirable
