As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in expanding our advanced data warehouse using state-of-the-art tools and techniques.

Join us in shaping a more data-driven organization, addressing challenges in a dynamic environment. We've established a sophisticated mortgage data warehouse and aim to standardize mortgage data for formal reporting to supervisors. This entails integrating additional data sources and establishing a self-service environment for the bank services that mortgage colleagues, fostering data-driven decision-making.

You'll closely collaborate with functional application managers and colleagues in the Data Engineer community, creating a lively learning environment.

| Key Responsibilities |

- Designing and developing Power BI Reports and Dashboards, utilizing Azure services like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks for advanced analytical insights and Business Intelligence solutions.

- Building and managing data storage and retrieval systems using Azure storage services such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.

- Monitoring and troubleshooting data processing systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with data security regulations such as GDPR.

- Engaging with stakeholders, challenging them with insightful inquiries.

- Conducting training and knowledge sessions for platform users as necessary.

| Requirements |

We seek a dedicated data engineer with a solid background in Azure cloud services and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key qualifications include:

- Passion for Data, particularly Data Visualizations, Reporting, and Dashboards.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft Power BI platform, including administration and reporting.

- Strong Data modelling skills, comprehension of Multi-dimensional data sets, OLAP, and DAX.

- Experience in Enterprise environments and involvement in at least three successful BI projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- A minimum of 3 years of data engineering experience, with at least 1 year in Azure data engineering.

- Previous exposure to banking/mortgage environments is advantageous.
