Position Summary

SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION:The Senior Information Security Assessor will be part of the Risk & Compliance team in Enterprise Information Security (EIS). The Risk & Compliance team is responsible for assessing and monitoring compliance to our information security policies and procedures across the enterprise. The Senior Information Security Assessor will oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing information technology (IT) systems meet the organization's information assurance (IA) and security requirements. Ensures appropriate treatment of risk, compliance, and monitoring assurance from internal and external perspectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certification, Registration, LicenseBachelor's DegreeField of Study: Bachelors degree or equivalent, related experienceYears of Experience: minimum 7 years exp in cybersecurity principles, cyber threats & vulnerabilitiesSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of conducting Meaningful Use (MU) AssessmentsKnowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.Knowledge of risk management processes (eg, methods for assessing and mitigating risk).Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.Knowledge of information security principles.Knowledge of information threats and vulnerabilities.Kind and Length of Experience:Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Capable of relating compliance, technical and nontechnical information to varied audiences with impact.Requires knowledge of regulatory and contractual compliance, including PCI, and HIPAA requirements for information systems, security and privacy.Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity principles, cyber threats and vulnerabilities.Proven ability to establish and maintain effective, respectful, and trusting relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, external colleagues and vendors representing varying needs, personalities, and styles.
